I’m also looking at this. Can anyone with an oZone tell me the width between the poles holding the wheel mount? A fabricated wedge attached to the wheel mount plate with the keyboard track attached to that would allow the keyboard to telescope towards my lap. So long as there is 20′ between the poles I’ve found a few that will fit.
I like the swing away keyboard and mouse tray but really if the space is there it makes more sense to me to be able to stow the keyboard forward.

My thought would be this:
Two C channels one which fits within the other to form a box. At one end cross drill and bolt the assembly together so that the other end opens like an alligator’s mouth. At the other end, have one piece cross drilled and the other given a vertical slot which would provide adjustable angle. Finish with a carriage bolt.
The top of the assembly bolts to the bottom of the steering mount, and the bottom of the assembly bolts to the keyboard track. That way the keyboard stows under already used space making the unit more compact and making the keyboard (and mouse if you have a keyboard tray with a swing out mouse surface) more stable.
